Dumbos.
Would-be burglars Matthew McNelly and Joey Miller’s masterplan had one tiny flaw —their ‘disguises’ comprised of masks drawn on their faces with permanent marker pen.
Police stopped their car after a witness reported two men ‘with painted faces’ were trying to break into a flat in Carroll, Iowa.
McNelly, 23, and Miller, 20, were both charged with attempted second-degree burglary and released on bail.
McNelly was also charged with drunk driving.
The pair are due in court next month. Hopefully the disguises will have washed off by then.
Iowa? Thank goodness, I was going to guess Mississippi or Alabama
Vincent Price’s rap is my favorite part of Thriller. Happy Halloween!

Just got this photo in an email from mysister. The subject line? Two guys who should never sit together. Classic!

Reminds me of another great quote that I believe I heard from Zig Ziglar: Everyday is a GREAT day. If you don’t believe that, try missing one of them!
The money I found this morning on my way to work was all bunched up and I just shoved it in my pocket, like any good 10 year old kid would do.
I take it out to go buy me a lunch feast, and it is actually TWO bills.
Jeebus was rewarding me for that awful moment in the sun and the blisters I have now.
lickystickypickyme almost showing cleavage! Woah!
File this under this things I’ve never done before:
I just purchased tickets for the 5/1/10 concert in Raleigh with Taylor Swift & Kellie Pickler.
Never purchased tickets this far in advance of a show before.
Never paid this much per ticket for a show before.
Never been to a concert at the RBC Center in Raleigh before.
Adding to my list of things I’ve never done but will be doing soon:
Purchased tickets to see A Christmas Carol starring Ira David Wood III at Memorail Auditorium in Raleigh. This is a decades old tradition on Raleigh, and this is my first time to see it.
Purchased tickets to (of all things) WWE Smackdown & ECW wresting in Raleigh at the RBC Center two days after Christmas. Not really sure why I did that, other than I was able to get really good seats.
Anyway, looking forward to the Swift/Pickler show.
ok, here's my fun facts:
1. I enjoy shopping at places like Big Lots, as long as I go in with plenty of time and no particular shopping list.
2. I like to watch shows on the Food Network, such as Iron Chef and Chopped, but I would never eat 99.9% of what I see them prepare.
3. I “have” to go to the NC State Fair yearly.
4. 3 of the decor items in my living room were from window displays 30 years ago from the Florsheim Shoe Store I managed in Greenboro, NC.
5. I still have a vile of ash from when Mt. St. Helens erupted years ago that someone gave to my Grandmother.
*I think the lighthouse in the photo is the Portland Head Light in Cape Elizabeth, near Portland.
